“I’m going to go with Rosa Parks because she started a movement that most people, back then, probably wouldn’t have been strong enough to be able to stand out against the grain.”
“I’m going to go with Marie Curie because I think she was a pioneer , not only in science, but for women in science. And she actually made a personal sacrifice, both health wise and mental health wise to advance her field of study and to advance women’s positions in her field of study .”
“Angelina Jolie. I think she’s really inspiring because she doesn’t really care about other people’s opinions and she just works on herself and being a better person.”
“The one that really sticks out for me is Eleanor Roosevelt. She was such a leader in social justice and used her power for wonderful things, for all women and minorities.”
“Jackie Kennedy because she was just all about standing up for what she believed in and even after the JFK assassination, she still stood for what she believed.
