On Oct. 8, 2014, Chance the Rapper and Travis Scott entertained audiences both student and citizen alike at the EMU Convocation Center. DJs and Channel 95.5’s promotions team appeased the crowd prior to the event, and the Convocation Center had special edition Eastern Chance the Rapper shirts on hand for patrons.

Missy Higgins’ fourth studio album, released in early September, is a masterpiece of Australian covers. OZ is comprised entirely of hit songs from Australian artists, reimagined in her own light. An album that begins with a grainy “1, 2, 3” count off has either been recorded in someone’s basement or has a really bold start. Karen O’s striking vocals thankfully pull through the fuzzy-sounding recordings and give a bit of a charming feel to the overly simplistic style of the album.
