The Eastern Michigan University men’s golf team finished third, in a field of 17, at the Firestone Invitational, hosted by the University of Akron on Oct. 7-8. The women’s team finished tied for third, in a field of 16, at the Mid-American Conference Preview, at the Hawthorns Golf and Country Club, in Fishers, Ind. Oct 7-8.
The Eastern Michigan University women’s golf team finished ninth, in a field of 14, at the Nittany Lion Invitational, hosted by Penn State Sept. 27-29. After a long spring season of success, the Eastern Michigan University women’s golf team continued its success into post-season play. The team traveled to Nashport, Ohio to compete in the 2013 Mid-American Conference Championship.
The Eastern Michigan University men’s golf team traveled to Indiana this weekend to compete in the Boilermaker Invitational hosted by Purdue University. The team came in 13th place out of the 18 teams competing. The Eagles scored a 914 in the two-day event on the Birck Boilermaster Golf Complex’s Kampen Course.
