Nelson, Terry lead fierce EMU second-half comeback to topple Wright State, 86-82

A career game from 6’8” senior Da'Sean Nelson (Toledo, Ohio/Robert S. Rogers/Kilgore College/DePaul), an additional 21 points from fellow upperclassmen Jalen Terry (Flint, Mich./Beecher/Oregon/DePaul), and a 15-2 run to erase an 11 point deficit to start the second half is all it took for the Eastern Michigan’s men’s basketball team to finally snap their three game losing streak - beating Wright State in dramatic fashion, 86-82.

Eastern Michigan men’s basketball falls to Texas State in season opener, 64-44

The Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team had a challenging start to the season, losing 64-44 to Texas State in the Mid-American Conference-Sun Belt Conference Challenge. Despite a standout performance from Christian Henry, who scored 17 points, the Eagles struggled with shooting efficiency and fell behind early, allowing Texas State to maintain control throughout the game.

21 points from Christian Henry (Chicago, Ill./The Skill Factory/Panola College), 18 points from Da’Sean Nelson (Toledo, Ohio/Robert S. Rogers/Kilgore College/DePaul) and an additional 13 points from Jalin Billingsley (Cleveland, Ohio/Lutheran East/Georgetown) was more than enough to power the Eastern Michigan basketball team to a dominant showing over Central State in a preseason outing at the George Gervin GameAbove Center, 85-63.
