Local Artist of the Month: Madison Cantrell vends at Ypsi Pride 2025

Madison Cantrell is an art and journalism double major at Eastern Michigan University who focuses on film and digital photography and serves as the editor in chief of Cellar Roots. Ypsilanti Pride 2025 is the first time Cantrell is selling their work, and they are excited to see what comes in the future with internship opportunities.

Meet newly-appointed Eastern Michigan University regent Sean Gray. An alumnus of EMU himself, he will serve on the faculty affairs and personnel and compensation committee in addition to working an auditor alongside University President James Smith.
