EMU Football Defeated by Super Bowl MVP

Julian Edelman, who was named Super Bowl MVP earlier this month after his victory with the New England Patriots, helped take down Eastern Michigan more than 12 years ago in a game that featured little offensive production from either team. The game took place on Nov. 17, 2006 in Kent, Ohio. 

EMU Football Signs Nine Players On National Signing Day

National Signing Day was Wednesday, Feb. 7 for the college football world, and Eastern Michigan University signed nine new players to bring its freshmen class total to 28.

Five interceptions from Brogan Roback -- including a pick six to seal the deal in the fourth quarter -- led to defeat for the Eastern Michigan University football team (3-7, 1-5) as they fell to the Chippewas from Central Michigan University (6-4, 4-2) 42-30 Wednesday Nov. 8 at Kelly-Shorts Stadium.
