Men’s golf places 3rd at MAC Match Play

The Eastern Michigan University men’s golf team got off to a great start this season after finishing in third place at the Mid-American Conference Match Play tournament. The tournament was held at the Lake Jovita Golf Course in Dade City, Fla., and was hosted by Ball State University.

Europe makes golf ‘history’ with comeback in Ryder Cup

During the Ryder Cup, which took place Sept. 27-30, Europe completed one of the most dramatic comebacks in the history of golf by overcoming a six-point deficit in the last two days, stunning the United States 14.5 to 13.5 at the Medinah Country Club in Medinah, Ill.

Golf performs at U of M

Eastern Michigan University junior and co-captain, Alyssa Kwon, withstood a very competitive field at the par 71, 6, 112 yard Wolverine Invitational at the U-M Golf Course this past weekend. Kwon, along with Alicia Weber from Michigan and Meghan MacLaren from Florida International, shot an overall score of 227 to finish in a tie for first place in the individual part of the tournament.





Marty Jeppesen putts Sunday at Radrick Farms.  He shot 72 in the final round of The Wolverine tournament.

Men's golf gives strong tourny showing

ANN ARBOR – Playing against some of the nation’s top-ranked teams, including No. 14 Arkansas, Eastern Michigan men’s golf team hung strong Saturday and Sunday at The Wolverine tournament.
