Winter break baseball round-up

The Eastern Michigan University baseball team lost its series opener at the University of Kentucky 8-2, Friday. With the threat of inclement weather for Sunday, Saturday’s game was rescheduled as a doubleheader between the Eagles and Wildcats. Kentucky swept the twin-bill with a 9-5 win in game one and routed the Eagles in the nightcap 13-2.






Rec/IM’s fitness program sees growth

When the Rec/IM decided to no longer use the services of B Young B Fit last semester, graduate assistant Jeff Phillips saw an opportunity to expand the fitness program.

Men's swim team competes at U of M

The University of Michigan men’s swimming team played host to the First Chance Meet to end its 2013-14 regular season and to prepare to play host for the Big Ten Championship.


Janay Morton (Brooklyn Park, Minnesota) scored 14 points over 28 minutes of playing time.

EMU women rally to defeat Ball State

The Eastern Michigan University women’s basketball team rallied back from a seven-point deficit with 10:09 left to beat Ball State University 62-60 on Sunday.
