Ypsilanti families receive cash support from Rx Kids program

In December 2025, Rx Kids, a program that provides direct financial support to eligible families, was expanded to Ypsilanti. As of January 2026, 63 Ypsilanti families were enrolled.

Water Street identified as top priority for Ypsilanti, residents share opinions

After identifying the Water Street Redevelopment Area as a top priority for Ypsilanti City Council, a community meeting was held to begin the development of an ad hoc citizens committee and for community members to voice their opinions on the future development.
