Monday, Dec. 7

  • A rock was thrown through a window at Sill Hall sometime between 3 p.m. on the 6th and 9 a.m. on the 7th. DPS does not have a suspect or camera footage to review.

Tuesday, Dec. 8

  • An EMU student left their bike unlocked between 9 and 11 a.m., Tuesday at the Student Center. When the student came back, the bike was gone. The student reported this to DPS at 11:12 a.m. the next day. They are reviewing camera footage.
  • A student's laptop was stolen near the Pray-Harrold printing station, on the 2nd floor, Tuesday. The student left the laptop unattended between 4 and 11 p.m. DPS is reviewing camera footage.
  • A student left a knee brace on a table in the Student Center's student organization area between 1 and 2 p.m. Monday. Once they realized it was stolen, they reported it to DPS on Tuesday at 3:26 p.m. DPS is reviewing camera footage, but it is possible that it was taken to lost and found.

Wednesday, Dec. 9

  • Police stopped a man for drunkenness at the corner of Pearl and Washington streets, Wednesday. DPS arrested the man, who was not an EMU student, for a bench warrant, and was taken to the Washtenaw County Jail.
