02414 -- Scott Stephenson Eastern Echo Scholarship:  This expendable scholarship is for the benefit of student(s) in the School of Communication, Media & Theater Arts in the College of Arts & Sciences.  It will be awarded to a full or part-time junior or senior EMU student majoring in journalism and working for the Eastern Echo.  The student should be working to self-finance their education and not be eligible for need-based grants.

00825 -- Student Media Development:  Provides support for the Student Media program.

Police Blotter Nov. 4 - Nov. 10

Sunday, Nov. 4

A student was reported for possession and use of marijuana at Cornell Courts A at 7:53 p.m. 

Monday, Nov. 5

A false check was used at 1200 Oakwood Street on Nov. 2, 12 p.m. The crime was reported on Nov. 11, 9:20 a.m. 

A parked vehicle was struck at the Westview Apartments between Nov. 4, 6:30 p.m. - Nov. 5, 7 a.m. The driver who struck the vehicle failed to stop and identify. 

Tuesday, Nov. 6

A student was arrested at the Olds Robb Rec under pre existing warrants at 5:52 p.m. The student was also reported for resisting an officer during the arrest. 

A student reported being subject to harassing and stalking communications from another student at Ford Hall at 9:52 p.m. 

Wednesday, Nov. 7 

A non-student was arrested for trespassing into the Eastern Eateries at 12:27 p.m. The individual displayed disorderly conduct and resisted police during arrest. 

A student yelled obscenities at another student who had told them not to contact them at Wise Hall at 5:30 p.m. 

Thursday, Nov. 8

An individual offering a service to another at the Ann Street parking lot took the victim’s money without providing the service at 11:50 p.m. 

Friday, Nov. 9

The Ypsilanti Police Department responded to a report of domestic violence and property damage at 125 N. Normal Street at 3:04 a.m. 

A worker at the Physical Plant reported an altercation with a student at Halle Library between 11:07 p.m. - 11:54 p.m on Nov. 8. 

Saturday, Nov. 10 

A purse and backpack were stolen from a parked vehicle at Cob Parking Structure between Nov. 9, 5 p.m. - Nov. 10, 12 p.m.
