Soccer extends win streak to 2
Playing in the Virginia Commonwealth tournament, Eastern Michigan defeated Richmond, 1-0, on Friday and Loyola (Md.) College, 5-0, on Sunday.

The Eagles (4-1-1) return home play Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis at 4 p.m. Friday. They play Michigan State at 1 p.m. Sunday. Both games are at Scicluna Field.

Volleyball wins first match in Mississippi State Invitational
With a 3-0 victory over Northwestern State on Friday, EMU ended an eight-match losing streak and earned its first win. The team lost its next two matches against tournament winner Arkansas State, 3-1, and Mississippi State, 3-2.

EMU (1-10) plays in the DePaul tournament Friday and Saturday. Its opponents will be DePaul, Sacramento State and Western Kentucky.
