Armed robbery near COB on Sunday

An armed robbery occurred Sunday morning one block from the Eastern Michigan University College of Business. The victims of the robbery were not associated with EMU.

The four victims were held at gunpoint by two individuals at the corner of Pearl and Washington at 1:50 a.m. The two individuals demanded the victims’ property, taking several cell phones and cash before running from the scene.

The victims described the suspects as two African American males, both 5-feet-7. One suspect was described as in his late 20’s, with dark skin wearing a black baseball cap and black hooded sweatshirt.
The second suspect was described as mid to late 30’s, with dark skin, a grayish beard and medium build. No further information was provided to police by
the victims.
