Eagles hockey donates proceeds from WMU game to murder victims’ family

The Eastern Michigan University hockey team will face off against rivals Western Michigan University on Saturday night at the Taylor SportsPlex, but there’s more behind the weekend game than putting the puck in the back of the net against a known foe.

EMU Club Hockey wins 4-3

The Eastern Michigan Universiy Eagles Club Hockey team beat the Oakland University Golden Grizzlies 4-3 on Friday. Junior defenseman and captain Jordan Roemer said he was optimistic and felt prepared going into Friday’s game, even though the EMU Eagles (5-6) lost to the Golden Grizzlies (6-5) 10-2 a week prior.
