Student tickets for Jay-Z’s Oct. 21 show at EMU’s Convocation Center went on sale yesterday.
Though the tickets were scheduled to go on sale at 10 a.m., a line of fans eager to secure their spot began forming outside the ticket office even earlier.
$25 student tickets for seats in the upper bowl are available to anyone with a valid EMU ID. This low price for students will continue until tickets run out. Higher priced tickets for seats in the lowers rows, which range from $35 to $75, will go on sale to the public this Friday.
But don’t wait too long, tickets for the show are likely to sell out quickly.
“We have had a great student response today,” said Marcy Szabo, Assistant Director of Events, Marketing and Promotions at the Convocation Center. “It was nice to see a line outside the ticket office before the windows opened, it means our students are excited about this show.
The show is presented by the Convocation Center, Student Government, Campus Life and Housing.
