Ameera Salman uses she/they pronouns and worked for The Eastern Echo from fall 2022 to December 2025. Salman worked as the editor-in-chief of Cellar Roots and became the editor-in-chief of The Eastern Echo in 2024. Salman worked as the news editor from October to December 2025. Salman graduated in Fall 2025, majoring in journalism with a minor in urban studies.
