It’ll be here before you know it – National Signing Day is Feb. 3 and it’s like Christmas morning for college football programs across the country.

Eastern Michigan coach Chris Creighton and his staff have been hot on the recruiting trail since the conclusion of the 2015 season, and have racked up a total of 16 athletes thus far to come play for EMU in the fall.

The offensive line essentially has to be replace as EMU loses all five starting offensive lineman from a year ago, so the position becomes one of desperate need for EMU.

A couple of offensive line transfers will join the program, one of them being Dan Samuelson from the University of Michigan, who will not be eligible to play until the 2017 season. Jimmy Leatiota from San Mateo, Calif. will also transfer to EMU after playing at the College of San Mateo. Leatiota played center on the offensive line and will be eligible to play immediately.

Below is a list of the current players committed to Eastern Michigan followed by class of 2016 athletes that have yet to commit to a school.
