Review: Kelly Clarkson reigns queen of entertainment

Kelly Clarkson is one busy woman as she tackles job after job in the entertainment industry.

Kelly Clarkson is taking over all things entertainment: She has her own talk show, she’s a coach on “The Voice” and she has her own Las Vegas residency starting next year.

Clarkson’s talk show, “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” has just been renewed for a second season. It’s a fun show that captivates audiences. She interviews big-name celebrities like Garth Brooks and Chrissy Teigen and includes human-interest stories that are sure to pull at your heartstrings.

One highlight from her talk show is an opening song that an audience member requests her to cover. This segment is called “Kellyoke.” Clarkson is able to sing a wide variety of genres, making her easily one of my favorite singers.

On “The Voice,” Clarkson is funny and captivating. She cares about her team, and it’s not rare to find Clarkson shedding a tear. The viewer at home is looking at a masterclass in coaching and vocals from Clarkson. This job was a perfect gig for Clarkson because it combines helping others succeed while being able to show her big heart.

Clarkson is starting her Las Vegas residency “Invincible” next April, and it will go until September. Her show will take place at Zappos Theater. This is the same location that fellow “The Voice” coach Gwen Stefani has her residency, “Just A Girl.” Maybe we will get lucky enough to see them do something on stage together.

Clarkson also started this year with her “Meaning of Life Tour,” and I got to see it when she came to Little Caesars Arena. She gave an amazing show, and her vocals were epic. She truly gives you your money’s worth.

This woman just keeps going and going. Just when you think she’ll slow down and take a break, she’s back with something even bigger. Clarkson combines talent and heart. She is lovable while also being able to sing like the best of them.

I’ve seen almost every episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” and it’s gotten better over time. She is finding her footing as a talk show host and doing well. She still sometimes talks over her guests and doesn’t wait long enough for a response, but this will come with more time and practice. Clarkson has the gift of gab, and it will be wonderful to see what she is like in her second season.

Clarkson has been winning over people since winning “American Idol” in 2002. With big hits such as “(Stronger) What Doesn’t Kill You” and “Since You Been Gone,” she has proven she can put out songs that are massive in popularity.

Clarkson is an artist who will be around for a lifetime. She is known for her anthems, her ballads and now for her personality on television. Clarkson is doing so many jobs right now and executing all of them amazingly. If you need both a good laugh and a good cry, listen to Clarkson’s music or watch her on either “The Kelly Clarkson Show” or “The Voice.”
