Ypsi Pride Freighthouse Space Rave - June 5, 2026
It’s time to dance on another planet. Guests may attend the pre-party before Ypsi Pride June 5, 2026 from 5-10 p.m. at the Ypsilanti Freighthouse in their best space inspired outfit, ready to line dance with MC Bookmat and jam out from a DJ set by Problematic Black Hottie. This free event is a way to support Ypsi Pride before the big day on July 18. The Ypsilanti Freighthouse is at 100 Market Place, Ypsilanti.
Ypsi Pride Pie’d for Pride - June 5, 2026
What better way to raise money for a cause than serving someone a pie with their face on the platter? It’s time to lace up those shoes and get ready to pie one of the Ypsi Pride volunteers, June 5, 2026, from 6-8 p.m. at 734 Brewing Company, 15 E. Cross St., Ypsilanti. All proceeds will go toward Ypsi Pride, which will take place July 18.
Beers with Queers - June 8 & 22, 2026
Going to events can be daunting, especially when not knowing anybody. For a non-intimidating setting that is hosted year round, join Beers with Queers for a place to mingle without pressure. This event is hosted every second and fourth Monday, right at Corner Brewery, 720 Norris St., Ypsilanti, after 6 p.m. Food and beverages are available for purchase.
The Big Three-Oh-No: Out Loud Chorus Laments Turning 30 - June 12 & 13, 2026
Plenty of people have gone through the motions thinking their lives were ending when it was just the beginning. For its 30th anniversary, the Out Loud Chorus will present a concert inspired by the queer trope that life ends at 30. Performances will take place June 12 & 13 at 8 p.m. at the Lincoln Consolidated Performing Arts Center, 7425 Willis Road, Ypsilanti. Tickets will be $25 at the door or $23 in advance. There will also be a livestream available for $25. Students, seniors and anyone in need can pay $15, while anyone 12 and under or unemployed can enjoy the performance for free.
Pride Y2K Cookout - June 27, 2026
Attendees can transport themselves back to the 2000s through music, food, style and culture. With activities and DJs at the forefront, guests will be engaged and connected, with the community at the center of it all.
