What to expect at Ypsi Food Co-op Fall Festival 2026

Ypsilanti Food Co-op will host its Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 17 to celebrate community through food and fun.

The event will include entertainment, activities, crafts, potluck and more. In addition, this year's Fall Festival will participate in the Interdependence Relay, connecting people across the country. The website promoting the Interdependence Relay states that it is a year-long, continent-spanning experiment in community. 50 gatherings 50 different states will unite people who care about creating a country where everybody belongs, organizers said on the website.

"At every step of the relay, we support our hosts — through coaching, connections and a modest stipend (because snacks don't buy themselves)," the Interdependence Relay webpage states. The relay is a celebration of all the ways people across the country continue to turn towards each other during a time when so many forces in life make connection and belonging difficult, organizers explained.

From 1-5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17, people can stop by Ypsi Food Co-op to enjoy some food, participate in the Interdependence Relay, play games and have fun. Ypsi Food Co-op is located at 312 N. River St., Ypsilanti.

Those who wish to attend can RSVP to the event on the Ypsi Food Co-op website.
