EMU Theatre Metamorphoses

Mary Zimmerman's "Metamorphoses" explores the inevitability of change using a myriad of Greek stories involving King Midas, Aphrodite, Orpheus & Eurydice, and more. The play utlizes of a pool of water on stage to represent the shift between tales, the metaphorical, and the ethereal plane. EMU Theatre's production of "Metamorphoses" took place in the Judy Sturgis Hill Sponberg Theatre and ran from October 8-11, 2026. (Gallery by Max Taylor).
