Star Wars, Star Trek and Football Debate Star Wars versus Light Sabers will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, in room 350 of the Student Center. The debate will showcase the impact that Football and the Star Wars/Trek franchises have had on American culture. The debate will judged by both students and faculty. This event is LBC approved.
EMU animal research plays by the book

Rainbow Variety Show The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Resource Center is holding an event, in conjunction with OUTtober, called the Rainbow Variety Show. Students will show talents from original songs, dance and poetry. Ypsilanti-based queen and Boylesque creator Chanel Hunter will be hosting this free event in the Student Center auditorium from 8 to 9:30 Tuesday, Oct. 21.

On Oct. 8, 2014, Chance the Rapper and Travis Scott entertained audiences both student and citizen alike at the EMU Convocation Center. DJs and Channel 95.5’s promotions team appeased the crowd prior to the event, and the Convocation Center had special edition Eastern Chance the Rapper shirts on hand for patrons.
