The Eastern Michigan University gymnastics team secured a commanding victory at the Golden Girls' Classic on Friday, Jan. 17, defeating Mid-American Conference rivals Ball State University and Northern Illinois University, along with non-conference opponent Winona State University. The Eagles posted a meet-best score of 195.125 inside the George Gervin GameAbove Center, edging out Ball State (195.000), Northern Illinois (193.275), and Winona State (189.450). This marks the first time EMU has started 4-0 in a season since at least 2003.

The Eastern Michigan University gymnastics team opened its 2025 season with a strong performance, defeating Bowling Green State University 194.925-193.100 on Sunday, Jan. 12, at the George Gervin GameAbove Center. The Eastern Michigan Eagles (3-7, 1-4) gymnastics team lost their most recent match versus Michigan State on Saturday, March 7 in East Lansing. The Spartans came away with a 195.625-194.200 victory, while the Eagles were led by Jada Rondeau, Emili Dobronics, Kara Roberts and Caitlin Satler.

The Eastern Michigan University’s Gymnastics team competed against the University of Georgia and Ball State University in a triangular at UGA on Friday, Feb. 14. The Bulldogs, the hosts of the event finished in first place with an overall score of 197.075. In second place was the Cardinals with an overall score of 194.725. Lastly, the Eagles finished third with an overall score of 194.700.

The Eastern Michigan Eagles (2-3, 1-3) fell to the Northern Illinois Huskies on Friday, Feb. 7, on Senior Night at the Convocation Center. The final score was 196.125-194.375, in favor of the Huskies, despite Jada Rondeau tying her career-high on the vault with a score of 9.850. She also tied her career-best on the beam with a score of 9.875.
