On Friday, the Quirk-Sponberg Theater grew still as 7 p.m. drew near. The soft sound of children shushing was heard around the theater, bouncing off exposed brick walls as the lights dimmed. For two years, Eastern Michigan University students lost to alumni in the annual Students vs. Alumni basketball game. That changed Thursday, when the students left the Convocation Center with a 76-74 victory.
