Ewan McGregor stars as Dan Torrance in this sequel to one of the most memorable films “The Shining,” adapted from the mind of Stephen King. The original film centered around Jack Torrance and his wife and son after he accepted a position at the spooky Overlook Hotel. The supernatural forces within the hotel influenced Jack to leave his wife and child, Dan, in intensifying danger. “Doctor Sleep” fast forwards in time to focus on Dan Torrance after the first film’s events.

However, you can survive family events this holiday season with these five tips: First, don’t sweat the small stuff. It is okay if everything does not go perfectly. Forgot the six types of cheese everyone likes? Don’t sweat it. You’ll find the holidays much more relaxing when you don’t worry about pleasing everyone. If you find yourself worrying about every little thing, take the time to relax and breathe. Not everything has to be done the same way your parents or your grandparents did it. Everyone burns a pie now and then, and your house does not need to be perfectly decorated for everything to be okay. No matter whether everything is perfect, it will be okay.

Until recently, I never thought about or even realized how every country has their own group of popular artists that most people from other places in the world aren’t at all familiar with. As of late, I’ve been introduced to a plethora of amazing musicians from the United Kingdom. Some of the people I was recommended to listen to didn’t sound anything like music in the U.S., which made me even more glad to discover tons of albums and tracks that I really like. Here are my top five favorite U.K. based artists I’ve newly added to my playlist.
