EMU freshman Noah Farrakhan led the Eagles with 21 points. His performance put him at fourth all-time in freshman scoring in EMU mens’ basketball history, passing former EMU guard, Darryl Garrett.

Tuesday's matchup between the Eagles and Chippewas marked the 50th meeting since 1999. The win over the Chippewas extends the Eagles' lead in the series to 30-20. The Eagles' dominated over the Chippewas, leading since the start of the game. By the end of the first half, the Eagles pushed the lead to 43-30.
