The Eastern Michigan University football team’s offense missed out on scoring opportunities, leading to a 51-20 loss to the Ball State University Cardinals on Saturday at Rynearson Stadium.

Neighborhoods that once grew beautiful pastel peonies and shining marigolds are now barren. Homes that held memories of a bright-eyed baby’s first steps are replaced with blown out windows and graffiti-stained walls. This is the depiction of the average Detroit urban community. The urban communities have been neglected and left to wither away to nothing. With help and dedication from the community, neighborhoods can be rebuilt to provide better and safer living.

	Ball State quarterback Keith Wenning has passed for 998 yards this season, the best in the Mid-American Conference.

The Ball State University Cardinals will be visiting Rynearson Stadium looking to spoil Eastern Michigan University’s homecoming weekend this Saturday. While the Eagles will be spending time studying film to learn the Cardinals’ game, here are some notes for the fans to take a look at:
