EMU Alumni to perform original sketch show

Eastern Michigan University alumni, Kristin Anne Danko, Eric Hohnke and Marissa Kurtzhals, are to participate in their very own, originally written theatrical performance, The Big Game Weekend. Danko will be directing the performance and Hohnke and Kurtzhals will be starring as fifteen different characters, including themselves.

The Velveteen Rabbit to premier at Quirk-Sponberg

‘The Velveteen Rabbit’, a play based upon the popular children’s picture book is set to premiere at the Quirk Sponberg Theater from 7-8pm on Friday, November 14 with a second showing from 12-1pm on Saturday, November 15. The story of the show centers on the Velveteen Rabbit, a toy rabbit that longs to become real and his journey to do so through the love of a child. The journey of the velveteen rabbit coming to life is one of love, acceptance and change.
