Eastern Michigan University students came together on Tuesday to watch “In Whose Honor,” a documentary film addressing the issue of Native American mascots. This was one of the events for Native American Heritage Month and the purpose was to spark a discourse. The NCAA currently prohibits uniforms with nicknames or images of Native Americans during any official competition.
