It’s been two weeks since the start of this year’s NaNoWrimo write-a-thon, and the Eastern Michigan University Wrimos have been writing their hearts out to make the count.
Following a busy summer (during which I spent nearly a month in Europe), and the return to school (where I spend countless hours studying), I’ve been hesitant to return to the dating-sphere. It doesn’t help Creepertown has been quiet recently—too quiet.
It’s a question met by many with confusion, some with interest and others with outright squeals of excitement and anticipation.
As the leaves continue to change colors and the weather grows increasing colder, it almost feels like Michigan is expecting something big.
My story begins three years ago. I was a freshly out of a long-term relation-suck and I was not-so-eager to get on the proverbial dating horse.
As the hands clicked toward 11, a small group started forming outside the E-Zone doors. A cutting-edge facility located on the first floor of the Student Center, E-Zone welcomes anyone who has an EMU student ID to play several types of games—console, computer and non video-related.
