Sydney Huntley led the Eagles (15-5) with 28 points against the Zips on Saturday, including two consecutive three-pointers. She had 13 points in the first half and six steals for the game.

Tavelyn James, who led all scorers with 22 points, did her best to get the Eagles back in the game with 12 second-half points that saw the Eagles get within 15 points with just less than 14 minutes left. Their next game is against the Bobcats at Ohio University on Wednesday.

	Alex Gillett (13) under pressure from linebacker (88) Craig Roh during EMU’s 45-17 loss to Michigan on Sept. 19 when he filled in for the injured Andy Schmitt. Gillett will share playing time with Kyle McMahon on Saturday, coach Ron English said.

Coach Ron English and the Eastern Michigan football team will try for their first win Saturday against Temple. The Eagles are 0-3 in English’s first season. The game this weekend is homecoming and buses will be available to shuttle students back and forth.

The latter playing host to Eagletainment's very own Queso Tone as a musical performance, with the shows closing act Anthony Roperti a former guest of the show.
