Pothole problems plague Ypsilanti

Residents in Ypsilanti are spending more money on maintaining their vehicles due to major potholes and the city’s budget for road maintenance. According to Mayor Paul Schreiber in a letter addressed to the residents of Ypsilanti, the city is at a fiscal crossroad and must replace lost tax revenues to survive.

Shopping center will see upgrade

Neighbors seem to be in support of the judge’s demand to demolish and refurbish specific buildings in the Gault Village Shopping Center in Ypsilanti near I-94 and Grove Road. “I can’t believe it’s finally going to happen,” said Kim Burroughs, an Ypsilanti resident who lives near the shopping center.
