The ballroom at the student center last Thursday was packed with people on their feet, hands in the air, singing along with music from the live band.

I wonder if any LGBT (Gay, in other words) people were welcome at such an event, without calling themselves “miserable sinners”? Christians seems to love everyone but Gays it sometimes seems.

“In the end, it wasn’t just for those part of campus ministries, or even just Christians: it was about changing lives and uniting people.”

The article repeats the word ‘Christian’ 7 times in a short article and we’re supposed to believe this is open to ‘all’ religions?

Yeah, sure. Drink the Koolaid little sheeple.

It was definitely a Christian Event. That was clearly stated and nothing wrong with that. Maybe you didn’t understand that the idea was to UNITE the Christian Campus Ministries not ‘all religions.’ But it wasn’t like anyone was EXCLUDED or not allowed to attend. Most certainly everyone was welcomed. I am pretty sure nobody was at the door asking if you were gay or straight. But again…this event was put on by and for the Christian Campus Ministries. Let’s not forget that Christians have the right to assemble just like everyone else.

Last time I checked this was about the Christian community and uniting it. I honestly don’t know how some people linked the LGBT community to this. Also “Christians seems” to be a welcoming crowd most of the time and I think anyone who wanted to come could have done so freely, regardless of religion/sex orientation.
