The 2020 NFL season is set to get underway Thursday, Sept. 10, when the defending Super Bowl Champions, Kansas City, take on the Houston Texans. A full slate of NFL games will follow on Sunday and Monday night, which has me almost drooling. Fans, including myself, have been so starved for football that this Thursday feels like an actual holiday.
On Aug. 26, the Milwaukee Bucks announced that they would not play their upcoming playoff game in order to protest the police shooting of Jacob Blake. Soon, other teams followed suit, postponing all three playoff games scheduled for that day. Luke and Caleb discuss the impact of the boycott, as well as recent results of both the Eastern and Western Conferences.
With round one of the NBA playoffs coming to a close, three players have made their names in this Orlando bubble through some incredible offensive performances: Donovan Mitchell, Damian Lillard, and Luka Doncic.
