Bomber Plant is being threatened

The Willow Run Bomber Plant, a historical WWII landmark located just east of the Ypsilanti area, is now being threatened with demolition.


Ekklesia Fellowship gives out free lunches

The Ekklesia Fellowship Ministries, located at 123 N. Adams St., gave neighbors and strangers a free lunch, cold beverages and gifts on Saturday, June 22, when they held a neighborhood outreach event outside their church.

Heart Walk exceeds its monetary goal of $16,000

The 2013 Washtenaw County Heart Walk, held on Sunday, raised $20,303.20 for the American Heart Association’s mission of building healthier lives free of stroke and cardiovascular disease, according to their web site.

The 2013 Washtenaw County Heart Walk will take place Sunday, May 19. The start location will be at Washtenaw Community College, located at 4800 E. Huron River Drive in Ann Arbor.

EMU students use interactive software to create animated store experience Students in Eastern Michigan University’s apparel, textile and merchandising program are using Mockshop, a software program donated by Visual Retailing LLC, a U.K.-based visual merchandising company, to create animated store experiences.

Julez DeShetler and Queso Tone catch up after a short hiatus due to illness and someones birthday. The pair talk about their semesters and the final big events of the year, the Eastern Echo Media Gala and Rock The Patio. The latter playing host to Eagletainment's very own Queso Tone as a musical performance, with the shows closing act Anthony Roperti a former guest of the show.
