Bryce McBride, a 6-2 point guard out of Jackson, Tennessee, announced his decision to join the Eastern Michigan men’s basketball program on Wednesday, March 28 on Twitter. He attended Dyersburg State Community College last season and was named First Team All-TJCCAA after averaging 24.2 points, 4.3 assists, and 3.4 rebounds per game.
Damari Parris entered the transfer portal on Thursday, March 19 as he has one year of eligibility remaining. Parris has already transferred once during his college career as he played for Western Kentucky during the 2016-17 season before coming to Eastern Michigan. The Eastern Michigan Eagles (16-15, 6-12) men’s basketball team lost their final regular season game of the year to the Toledo Rockets (16-15, 8-10) on Friday, March 6 at Savage Arena in Toledo. The Eagles were led by Thomas Binelli, who finished the game with 12 points and three rebounds. Luke Knapke had 16 points and 12 rebounds for the Rockets.
The Western Michigan Broncos (13-17, 6-11) defended their home court in a win against the Eastern Michigan Eagles (16-14, 6-11) in Kalamazoo at University Arena on Tuesday night. EMU tied the Broncos at 35 with 17:07 left in the second half before being outscored 20-8 in the final nine minutes, ending with a 70-54 loss.

EMU came back from 14 points down to defeat Central Michigan, 67-63, behind Yeikson Montero’s 17 points. Boubacar Toure had 13 points and 14 rebounds on Senior Day for the Eagles.

The Eagles beat the Golden Flashes with an astonishing score of 70-49, clinching their third consecutive win after beating Central Michigan and Western Michigan recently.
