Tuesday

A minor was found in possession of alcohol at 1:08 a.m. Tuesday in Hill Hall. The case is still open.

A homeless man was found sleeping in an external stairwell at 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday in Pierce Hall.

A larceny occurred between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Roosevelt when a suspect stole a dress off a mannequin in a storage room.

A purse was stolen from the Halle Library lost and found between 9 p.m. Monday and 6 p.m. Tuesday. The case is still open.

Monday

At 7:45 p.m., Halloween decorations were reportedly set on fire in the Walton Residence Hall. The case was closed Tuesday.

A subject was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia when found holding a marijuana cigarette at 10:51 p.m. Monday at the Wise Residence Hall.

Local:

An unknown amount of items was taken during a burglary in Ypsilanti Township. Deputies found the suspect or suspects forced the front door open and gained entry between 8 p.m. Sunday and 4 a.m. Monday of the residence in the 6000 block of Lake Drive.

Suspects stole a Nintendo video game system, video games and an unknown amount of cash from an Ypsilanti Township residence in the 200 block of International Drive. The burglary was suspected to have occurred from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday.

A laptop and an unknown amount of cash were stolen in a burglary between 2:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. Monday at a Superior Township residence in the 1000 block of Knollwood Bend, south of Geddes Road. Deputies found the suspect or suspects pried open a rear door to gain entry to the home.

A TV and laptop were stolen in a burglary between 8 p.m. Monday and 5:54 a.m. Tuesday at a residence in the 2000 block of Golfside Drive. Suspects gained entry by forcing open the patio door. There is no information regarding the suspects.
