Campus:

March 8- A subject in possession of a counterfeit bill was discovered at 12:18 p.m. in the Student Center.

A backpack was taken at 5:46 p.m. from the fourth floor lounge of Best Hall.

At 10:32 p.m., a subject asking for food and money was cited for disorderly conduct in the Dining Commons.

March 9- At 7:32 p.m., marijuana and paraphernalia were found in a dorm room in Phelps Hall.

A case of identity theft occurred when a fraudulent cell phone account was opened in a student’s name. The crime was discovered at 11:59 a.m.

A car broke the gate arm in the North Campus parking lot at 9:29 a.m.

Counterfeiting occurred when a photocopied parking permit hangtag was found at 4:33 a.m. in the Westview Apartments.

March 10- A subject was arrested at 4:30 p.m. on North Congress Street for an EMU bench warrant for driving with a suspended license.

March 11- An intoxicated subject was discovered creating a disturbance and given a MIP at 3:32 a.m. in Phelps Hall.

A vehicle was scratched around 12:20 a.m. in the North Campus parking lot.

Students were cited for disturbing the public peace at 10:09 a.m. after getting into an argument in the Student Center.

Local:

March 9- A purse, containing credit cards and an unknown amount of money, was stolen from an automobile at 9:30 a.m. in the 4000 block of Plymouth Road when a suspect smashed out the passenger side window.

A television set was taken from a residence between 4 and 7 p.m. in the 1000 block of Lathers Street.

March 10- Around 6 a.m., a suspect smashed out a glass door to gain entry into a residence in the 1000 block of East Michigan Avenue. An unknown amount of jewelry was taken.

A suspect kicked in the rear door of a residence between 6:10 a.m. and 5 p.m. in the 1000 block of Desoto Avenue and stole a television set.

A black 2004 Chevrolet Impala was stolen between 4 a.m. and 7 p.m. from the 2000 block of Pineridge Court.

A driver was arrested during a routine traffic stop on Grove Road near Rawsonville Road after deputies discovered he was wanted on several outstanding warrants including driving with a suspended license.
