Jobs in Student Government

EASTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY – Student Government is now hiring for the 2012-13 school year. In order to be considered, an applicant must be an EMU student for the entire 2012-13 academic year, with good academic and judicial standing.

Applications can be attained online at emustudentgov.org/employment or in person at 342A in the EMU Student Center. Applications must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, June 1.

Positions include director of diversity, director of communications, chief of staff, clerk, director of services and events, among others.

All positions are paid and are reliant upon approval of the Student Government Senate this fall.

“We have an ambitious platform in store for the coming year and our successes via advocacy, implementation and execution will rely heavily on a healthy and functional executive board,” EMU Student Body President Matthew Norfleet said in a press release.
