Company offers $10,000 reward for information in Julia Niswender case

A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the person responsible for the death of 23-year-old Julia Niswender.

Julia’s family told AnnArbor.com the reward is being offered by Duvall Group Investigations PLLC. According to Niswender’s mother, Kim Turnquist, the man who posted the reward, Ryan, is a long-time family friend and owner of the company.

She also said the family has not secured the investigative firm’s services.

Niswender’s twin sister, Jennifer, told AnnArbor.com the family is hoping the reward will help to spread the word and to catch the killer.

Niswender, an undergraduate student at Eastern Michigan University, was found dead Dec. 11, 2012 in her Peninsular Place apartment, located on the corner of LeForge Road and North Huron River Drive in Ypsilanti.
