Abducted: Ypsi woman found safe

Ms. Farrah Cook has been found and is secure. The suspect is currently being pursued by area law enforcement, according to a press release from the Ypsilanti Police Department.

Farrah Nicole Cook, 25-years-old, was reportedly abducted at approximately 5:45 a. m. Monday.

The incident occurred on the 500 block of South Hamilton Street in Ypsilanti where officers were dispatched in reference to a female being forcefully put in a black Grand Prix by a black male.

Upon investigation, family and co-workers advised that Cook had not shown up for work and was not in her residence.

Her ex-boyfriend, 27-year-old, Jeremy Abston, is being sought for questioning. He is described as being 5 feet 11 inches tall and 240-250 pounds. He’s considered possibly armed and dangerous.
