BrotherHood

Sisterhood Ladies Night

A Sisterhood Ladies Night for women of color will be on Wednesday, Sept. 3 in the McKenny Ballroom. The event will be from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and is meant to provide a safe space for women of color to relax, support each other and foster a stronger sense of community. Upward Bound

Upward Bound, a pre-college academic program for high school students in the Ypsilanti area, is hiring undergraduate tutors. Applications are due Friday, Sept. 12 by 5:00 p.m. in room 201 Boone Hall. Volunteers needed for Meijer Mania

Volunteers are needed for “Meijer Mania.” “Meijer Mania” will be on Thursday, Sept. 4 with two shifts. Shift one will be from 7:00 p.m. through 8:30 p.m. and shift two will be from 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Vendors will be assisting approximately 4,000 EMU students and will need help in product distribution in other store needs.

Volunteers needed for Pan-Helinc Council

Campus Life is requesting volunteers for the National Pan-Helinc Council Icebreaker dance on Sept. 12. The dance will be in the Bowen Field House and Campus Life needs graduate student, faculty and staff volunteers to help with entry, admissions and traffic flow.
