Sept. 5

Night watch personnel reported a female student who was intoxicated in Best Residence hall at 4:20 a.m. She was located outside of the building when police arrived and was issued a citation for minor in possession. She may also face discipline under the Student Code of Conduct and Community Standards.

Officers were called to the College of Business Parking Structure at 8:02 p.m. for possible domestic violence. On arrival they found two suspects, a male and female, who were role-playing with a large knife. The female was cited for obstruction of a criminal investigation for giving false information and the male was taken into custody for the large knife due to a prior warrant. Both were escorted from campus.

A male student’s radio faceplate was reported stolen at 10:32 p.m. at North Lot One. The crime was believed to have occurred between 10:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. There are currently no suspects.

Sept. 6

A wallet was reported stolen from a locker at the Olds Robb Recreation Center at 12:06 p.m. The crime was believed to have occurred on Sept. 5 between 1:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. A credit card in the wallet was also used fraudulently after the wallet came up missing. There are currently no suspects.

A student left the Crossroads dining commons with a bag full of unpaid merchandise at 2:00 p.m. The crime was believed to have occurred between 2:00 p.m. and 2:07 p.m. The suspect has been identified as a female student. She may face discipline under the Student Code of Conduct and Community Standards.

A student was caught trying to use counterfeit currency at the Eastern Eateries at 6:45 p.m. The student attempted to use a counterfeit $20 bill. The crime is under investigation.

Sept. 7

A student was cited for intoxication at Buell Residence Hall at 12:26 a.m. The female student was issued a minor in possession and was transported to Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital. She may face discipline under the Student Code of Conduct and Community Standards.

A security guard noticed a male student that appeared to be intoxicated and who was stumbling at Buell residence hall at 1:47 a.m. The student was issued a minor in possession and was transported to Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital. He may also face discipline under the Student Code of Conduct and Community Standards.

Night Watch personnel noticed a student who appeared to be stumbling and intoxicated at 2:13 p.m. in Pittman Residence Hall. When police arrived, the student was unconscious in his room. He was transported to Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital. He may face discipline under the Student Code of Conduct and Community Standards.

A driver reported he had a gun pointed at him after a hit and run off campus at 4:27 p.m. The incident occurred at Leforge Street and Huron River Dr. The crime occurred at 4:20 p.m. The driver followed the car until he saw that the passenger of the car had a gun pointed at him. Both the driver and the passenger in the car are in the Washtenaw County Jail awaiting arraignment. The case is currently under investigation.

A campus security authority reported that a female student reported she was sexually assaulted over the summer at 9:00 p.m. There is currently no suspect.
