Campus Life will be showing three movies in honor of Halloween. “Unfriended” will be showing at 8 p.m. Thursday, “The Gallows” will be showing at 8 p.m. Friday and “Sinister 2” will be showing at 8 p.m. Saturday. All three movies will be showing in the Student Center Auditorium.
“Unfriended,” which premiered last year, is about a group of online chat room friends who are haunted by a dead friend.
Faith Williams, a sophomore psychology student, said she is open to watching the movie.
“I'm interested in how the ghost manipulates what the friends are saying to each other [...] and how that plays out,” Williams said.
“The Gallows” premiered this past summer. The movie, set in a small town, is centered on the death of a student during a school play. Twenty years later, the student’s ghost begins haunting the alumni after a reenactment of the accident.
Senior Shontae Miller, a therapeutic recreation student, said the movie sounds interesting.
“That sounds good,” Miller said. “I love scary movies.”
There will be a second showing of the movie at 10:30 p.m.
“Sinister 2,” which premiered this past August, is about a mother and her sons who move into a house marked for death.
All three movie showings are free. For more information, visit the Campus Life movie calendar.
