International Week: The Art of Korean Paper Folding will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, in the Student Center Lobby. At 4:30 p.m., there will be Hansoori drumming and a question and answer session.

The Interp/Performance Studies Program will host Winter is Coming at 4 p.m., Thursday in Quirk/Sponberg Theater. This show will include slam poetry, dance, singing, performance art and puppets with a designated theme. This free event is LBC approved.

Eastern Michigan University will be celebrating the Transgender Day of Remembrance at 7:30 p.m., Thursday in the Student Center Room 350. The event is in memory of transgender people who have died due to violence. There will be a vigil afterwards.

Friday, Nov. 20

Pixels will be showing at 8 p.m. and again at 10:30 p.m., Friday, in the Student Center Auditorium. The showing is free.

The Graduate School is hosting a Research Conference from 9-4:15 p.m., Friday, in the Student Center on the third floor. This is an opportunity for graduate students to present their research in a speech, poster or art form. This event is free and LBC approved.

Saturday, Nov. 21

Connecting the Dots is a presentation from the Delores Soderquist Brehm Center for Special Education Scholarship & Research. They will be hosting an event on disability, inclusion, diversity and community building, according to the EMU calendar, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday on the third floor of the Student Center. According to the Brehm Center's web site, they are “dedicated to creating transformational research and the next generation of leaders in special education.” Their EMU event will cost $40, but it includes both breakfast and lunch.

The Wind Symphony Symphonic Band and Marching Band will host a concert called BANDORAMA at 7 p.m., Saturday at Pease Auditorium. Tickets cost $10.
