Sunday, Dec. 4

  • At 2:05 a.m. a traffic stop was conducted at the location of Cross Street and Ballard Street. The driver was cited for Minor in possession (MIP). This case was closed on Dec. 4.
  • At 2:34 a.m. the Department of Public Safety received a call regarding students and guests being loud inside of Village building E. This case was closed on Dec. 4.
  • At 5:46 p.m. DPS received a call regarding a laptop stolen inside of the Alexander music building. The offense was believed to have occurred between Dec. 4 at 5:15 p.m. and 5:22 p.m. The current status of this case is open.

Monday, Dec. 5

  • At 12:19 a.m. authorities were alerted to a subject taking backpacks from an unlocked vehicle at the location of Driscall Court. The current status of this case is open.
  • At 4:48 p.m. a traffic stop was conducted at the location of Perrin Street and Washtenaw Avenue. The driver was in possession of drug paraphernalia. The current status of the case is open.

  • At 3:08 p.m. DPS received a call regarding a hit and run accident occurring on campus in the Oakwood parking lot. The offense was believed to have occurred between Dec. 5 at 1 p.m. and Dec. 6 at 2:23 p.m. The current status of this case is open.

  • At 4:26 p.m. a traffic stop was conducted at the location of West Cross Street and College Place. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for heroin possession and Driving While License Suspended (DWLS). The current status of this case is open.

  • At 3:47 a.m. DPS received a call regarding an intoxicated female student found in the North Campus parking lot. The student was taken to a local area hospital treated, and released. The current status of this case is open.
  • At 4:26 p.m. DPS received a call regarding a breaking and entering and domestic violence inside of Best residence hall. The current status of this case is open.
