On Monday YBBW will be hosting, “Knocking the Boots” from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. in Student Center , Rm 310B. This event is geared towards HIV/AIDS awareness and will offer testing following a presentation by members of YBBW.
Also on Monday there will be an ice carving demonstration from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on the Student Center patio.
The Winter Fest Student Org Fair will be hosted on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. EMU Student Organizations are involved in the fair. The fair will include free hot chocolate, live music and other fun activities.
EMU’s LGBT Resource Center will be hosting an event from 11:30 am until 1 p.m. to welcome back students and staff, Student Center, Rm 330.
On Wednesday flu shots will be a part of a Wellness Fair from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. in REC/IM Building, 4th Floor. For the event students are asked to bring their BCBS insurance card, and Alan's Foundation will be covering the cost for students without one.
Wellness Woof is also on Wednesday the event is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Rec/IM Building, 5th floor. An opportunity to relax, and hang out with licensed therapy dogs from Therapaws.
On Friday the Student Center will be showing, “The Girl on the Train,” at 8 p.m. in the auditorium.
Sunday at 2 p.m. EMU Honors Band will be showcasing high school band members with the EMU band in the Pease Auditorium.
