The Ypsilanti Police Department is investigating a murder by a fatal shooting in an Ypsilanti-area park known as Nancy Park.
A 21-year-old man was found fatally shot multiple times in the area of Harris and Grove Street around 8:30 p.m. Saturday night Jan. 11.
There was a call that there could be a possible shooting and deputies arrived to the scene. They found the victim and had medical personnel transport him to the hospital, but he died from wounds according to Washtenaw County Sheriff’s office spokesman Derrick Jackson via MLive.com.
No arrests have been made, the investigation will go on. Further information on the case will be updated once more details are known.
