Aug. 28 began the first week of classes of the fall semester for students at Eastern Michigan University. Many things happened the first week from informational pickets to EagleFest at University Park.

Marie White

Marie White is the Editor-in-Chief at The Eastern Echo. She is a senior at Eastern Michigan University majoring in English with a concentration in Literature and Journalism minoring in Plant Biology. Marie has worked for The Eastern Echo since September of 2021, beginning as a news writer and opinions columnist, later becoming Assistant News Editor in summer of 2022 and Content Editor in the fall of 2022. She loves writing about breaking news and enjoys plants, bugs, and learning photography.
