Botany Club Giving Garden Clean Up - April 22

Join the EMU Botany Club in cleaning and preparing a garden for summer planting. The garden is located on 24 Westview St. in Ypsilanti, and the event runs from 5-7:30 p.m. Honors College students can also receive volunteer hours for participating.

Ypsi Arbor Little League Baseball Practice - April 22

Practice will be held Monday through Saturday, with opening day also taking place on April 27.

Honors College Graduation Gardening - April 24

Clean up flower beds and bushes with Honors College staff at the Honors College building. The event runs from 3-5 p.m.

Independent Film Festival Ypsilanti - April 24-27

Visit Riverside Arts Center to watch a variety of films being shown as part of the Independent Film Festival Ypsilanti. A schedule of the films and their showtimes can be accessed through the festival's website. Tickets and passes can also be purchased online.

Thesis Defense - Alina Dillahunt - April 25

Watch Alina Dillahunt discuss and defend her thesis on Lateralization of Motor Behavior as a Measure of Cognitive Functioning and Resting-State Electrocortical Activity at the Mark Jefferson Science Complex, Room 327 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Honors College Graduation - April 26

The Honors College Graduation will be held at Pease Auditorium from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Line up begins at 9:30 a.m. and graduation begins at 10:30 a.m.

Multicultural Graduation - April 26

Celebrate and recognize the achievements of students of color, domestic and international. The event is in Pease Auditorium from 6-8 p.m.

Shigeto Live Ensemble - April 26

Join musicians Zach Saginaw, Marcus Elliot, Ian Fink, and more for a night of music. Hosted by the University Musical Society, the event will begin at 9 p.m. in the Ypsilanti Freighthouse. Tickets can be purchased at the door. 

Spring Commencement - April 27

The ceremony is for students with active graduation applications. The event will be held in the George Gervin Gameabove Center from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There are two commencement times of 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
